Sales Tip: RV Gas Vent Firestop Gripper Supports

The Metalbestos RV Firestop Gripper Supports are designed to save time and
hassle when installing Type B gas vent.
These supports feature metal “gripper-fingers” that grab the vent pipe to hold it securely in place. They have been designed and tested to support more than twice their rated weight.
To install, simply nail the support plate over a properly framed opening and push the
vent pipe up from below, stopping when the pipe is at the desired position. That’s
it! There are no collars to align and tighten or nuts and bolts to deal with.
No other B vent support installs faster...saving time, money and trouble.
Three new larger sizes—7", 8" and 10"— have now been added to the product family. The gripper support is now available in 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8" and 10" sizes! The 3" to 6" sizes include a built-in spacer ring, which assures that the required one-inch clearance to combustibles is maintained. These sizes are UL-listed.
